The Shipibo people are a shamanic people living in the Amazon Basin in Peru. This Ceremonial Smoking Pipe is hand carved with the head of an eagle and a snake wrapped around the stem of the pipe. The Shipibo shamans are very influenced by the healing power of the plants and animals in their environment believing them to have special healing powers and properties.
