Chopra’s Morning Bliss Shake
This recipe was taken from The Chopra Center Cookbook, which is based on the ancient healing wisdom of Ayurveda. All Ayurvedic recipes focus on creating balance and supporting the body's natural state of health.
Ingredients:
10 whole almonds (soaked overnight in ½ cup water)
4 teaspoons organic raw honey or maple syrup
2oz soy or white pea protein powder plain or vanilla flavour
1 pinch of cinnamon
2 cups low fat vanilla soy milk or almond milk
2 medium bananas peeled and sliced
2 tlbs aloe vera juice
Drain almonds and discard water, place almonds in blender, add all the other ingredients, blend until smooth.
